Patient Experience Survey

Improving our care through your experience.

The CAA Patient Experience Survey gathers feedback from recent ambulance service users to monitor patient experience and assess the quality of services across Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.

The survey findings provide valuable insights into areas of our operations that meet expectations or may require improvement.

Feedback from Northern Territory respondents in the 2024 survey included:

  • 98% expressed overall satisfaction with the ambulance service.

  • 97% regarded the provision of care as good (with 91% rating it as very good).

  • 97% felt the paramedic's explanation of the service was clear.

  • 95% trusted and felt confident in the level of care provided.

  • 92% found the assistance provided by the Emergency Medical Responder when calling Triple Zero (000) helpful.
