Emergency Ambulance Transport
Our Emergency Ambulance Service plays a crucial role in delivering emergency pre-hospital care across the Territory.
Last year, we received over 91,000 Triple Zero calls and transported over 45,000 patients to hospital.
We want everyone to feel comfortable, confident, and reassured when they call us for assistance, and we strive to ensure that every call and transport is handled with the utmost care and professionalism.
It's important to note that in Australia, emergency ambulance transport is not covered by Medicare.
Costs can vary depending on the priority of the call and the distance to the hospital. The cost of an emergency ambulance service could exceed $1,000, depending on the nature of the incident.
