
This course is designed to equip parent and grandparents with the knowledge to manage basic first aid situations specific to children up to the age of seven.
Course Outline:
This course content varies by location and may cover some or all of the following:
- Resuscitation of an infant or child
- Choking
- Control of bleeding
- Poisoning and acute illness
- Management of shock
- Wounds
- Burns
- Bites, stings
There is no formal assessment as part of this course, but opportunity is provided to practice practical skills.
What certification do you get?
On successful completion of this course you will be issued with a St John Ambulance statement of attendance. This is a non accredited training course.
