St John NT has appointed Mr Eddy Gaskill as its new Director Commercial Strategy.

Mr Gaskill joins the organisation with 15 years of experience as a senior leader in both commercial and business development roles, working for several complex organisations during times of rapid change and growth.

CEO Judith Barker, welcomed Mr Gaskill to the team, stating that he will play a key role in delivering St John NT’s new strategic plan.

“Given his expertise, I am looking forward to Eddy’s leadership in the expansion of our commercial delivery and a fresh set of eyes to review our current product offering.

“While COVID-19 has presented many challenges to the health sector, it has highlighted to the community the importance of healthcare, first aid training and sales. We see our role in the community as helping people to build resilience, to be prepared and know how to respond in an emergency.

“St John NT has much expertise to offer our community and with Eddy’s leadership I hope to further expand the current services available to all Territorians,” she said.

Mr Gaskill, who has recently completed a PhD in human-centred design, looks forward to building an understanding of the NT business and focussing of St John NT’s customers.

“Having just arrived in the NT from WA, I am keen to learn more about the Territory, its communities and the opportunities for developing services which suit their needs.

“St John NT is a highly respected and recognised brand, it is exciting to join the team and contribute to its future growth and strength,” he said.

St John NT is the Territory’s leading provider in emergency medical response and preparedness. It provides a range of services from ambulance, under contract to the Northern Territory Government, coordination of emergency medical responses and event health services through to nationally accredited first aid training, community education, a mechanical workshop and first aid products and equipment.
