Integrated Safety Support, Australia’s leading specialist in workplace fatigue and healthy sleep training and smartphone apps, has announced the launch of a new service that is suitable for all workers in all working environments. Available through online courses and smartphone applications, the Eclipse Subscription Service aims to create a deeper understanding of sleep, alertness, healthy boundaries between work and home, personal fatigue management and performance.

"For a long time, fatigue management has almost exclusively been the realm of the attention critical industries but given the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and the switch to working from home, we have seen an increase in fatigue-related stressors and incidents in office environments as well the workplace," said Integrated Safety Support CEO, Dr Adam Fletcher.

In response to concerns about fatigue management and wellbeing, St John Ambulance Australia (NT) Inc. (St John NT) have become the first Australian organisation to secure more than 500 subscriptions, deploying the service across all frontline and office staff, as well as volunteers.

"The safety of our staff is our highest priority. Ensuring that our frontline emergency workers have the very best access to the latest thinking and understanding of fatigue management and occupational alertness is extremely important to us," said St John NT Director Ambulance Services Andrew Thomas.

"The past 12 months have highlighted the impact of fatigue on performance and productivity in all staff, as well as our volunteer workforce. The Eclipse Subscription Service from Integrated Safety Support now delivers training and resources suitable for implementation across the whole team."

Founded by Dr Adam Fletcher following his work as a research psychologist for the US Army in Washington, D.C., ISS is globally recognised as a pioneer in occupational alertness and fatigue management, providing engaging online training programs and patented monitoring apps designed to empower distributed teams, anywhere and anytime.

"The work we do translates the scientific and medical understanding of human sleep, work and fatigue into practical solutions that enhance safety, performance and wellbeing. We want this information to be accessible, easily digestible and engaging to all workers across any modern workplace," said Dr Fletcher.
